Burwarton Show is one of the premier one-day agricultural shows in the country attracting some twenty thousand visitors each year to the glorious south Shropshire countryside.
The Show is held annually on the first Thursday in August at Cleobury North on the B4364 between Bridgnorth and Ludlow, South Shropshire (Postcode WV16 6RP for satnav users) from 8.15 am to 7.00 pm. See our map here.
Described variously as a proper agricultural show, every effort is made to maintain the agricultural content of the show while providing a great day out for all the family.

About the Show
The first Burwarton Show was held over a hundred years ago and has been held annually with some breaks ever since. The Show is organised by a voluntary Committee dedicated to providing a first-class visitor experience and a great day out for all ages.
At the heart of the Show are the competitive classes for horses, heavy horses, cattle, sheep and goats backed up by show jumping, private driving and dressage attracting entries from all across the country. Standards are high and the Grand Parade of winners in the Main Ring is a sample of British agriculture at its very best.
The agricultural nature of the show is the driving force behind its organisation providing a warm welcome, interest and enjoyment to all our visitors. The Show promotes local foods and crafts and provides an important showcase for traders of all kinds.
Not to be forgotten are the cookery skills of the Women’s Institute classes plus children’s handicraft and wider horticulture exhibits.
The whole experience is topped off by a programme of continuous entertainment and spectacle in the Main Ring throughout the day.
